Hi, We're Cameron & Victoria Wylde
Victoria Wylde grew up in Gainesville, Florida, surrounded by an entrepreneurial family that knew how to work hard but also have fun. In high school, she worked summers at the sales counter of her dad’s tire & automotive service center, helping customers with their automotive needs. When she went to college, her mother’s real estate business was in full swing and Victoria became her real estate assistant. Watching her mother become a top-producing agent and helping hundreds of clients achieve their real estate dreams was the first taste Victoria had in the transformational power of real estate.
During college at the University of Florida, Victoria met her eventual husband, Cameron, a mechanical engineering student. She was instantly drawn to him for his sharp intellect and kind eyes. He soon was also swept up into the real estate business and was frequently helping Victoria’s mom with her real estate throughout his remaining college years.
Victoria completed an undergraduate degree in Plant Genetics and a Master’s of Science in Entrepreneurship and Cameron completed an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering. They both had deep roots in the community of Gainesville, Florida; however, beating to their own drum, Victoria and Cameron had a dream of moving west and living in mountain country. They loaded up their wagon (a 2006 Suburban) and headed west for Fort Collins, Colorado, where Cameron had a job fresh out of school. Cameron toiled away at his new engineering career, working hard to impress the bosses, and Victoria began a CBD hemp company, which would go on to become very successful.
Newly engaged and living on their own, the young couple decided to have a small, intimate wedding in beautiful Sedona, Arizona, which put Red Rock country on the map for them. They instantly fell in love with the incredible red rocks in every direction, hundreds of miles of hiking trails, and the high desert fresh air that made them feel alive. Ever since that trip, they dreamed of Sedona every time winter rolled around in Colorado.
When Covid hit, like many people, their world completely shifted, and nothing was certain with jobs or Victoria’s business. The CBD industry was hit hard by Covid, and Victoria and Cameron began to question living in Colorado as it was just too cold for their thin skin. At the start of the pandemic, Victoria’s parents purchased a home in Sedona. Living away from family while in Colorado made Victoria and Cameron realize how important family is and got them thinking, “Could we move to and live in Sedona?” At the same time, Victoria and Cameron began learning and studying about financial freedom and realized that their true passion was the convergence of real estate, investing, and helping others do the same.
Victoria and Cameron took the risk, moved to Sedona, and rolled up their sleeves to remodel Victoria’s parents’ first investment property. It hit the market and in the first year, grossed nearly $200,000 as a short-term vacation home. Victoria and Cameron also purchased their own property in Florida and remodeled it, and it is now another highly successful short-term rental. Realizing they have a knack for identifying, creating, and managing short-term rental properties, Victoria and Cameron started Wylde Vacation Rentals and they now manage a continuously growing portfolio of unique, luxury properties in Sedona.
Today, you’ll find Victoria primarily focused on helping clients buy and sell homes in Sedona. Cameron is at the helm of Wylde Vacation Rentals. With dozens of properties under management, their keen insight into the Sedona short-term rental market gives their clients an “edge” when searching for successful investment properties. Their passion for the Sedona community and living the Red Rock lifestyle is infectious to those looking to call Sedona home. Together, they are a laser-focused power couple committed to providing stellar service and helping clients find their ideal property in Sedona. They are both deeply involved in the Sedona community and love helping others achieve their Red Rock dreams!
